dataplanet is led by Sean and Rob. Every client relationship involves both.
Sean owns dataplanet's commercial strategy, sales, and business development. His background is in enterprise IT sales and service management - over 15 years building client relationships and delivery models across professional services, engineering, and regulated sectors.
Sean leads dataplanet's commercial team and stays personally accountable for the client experience - from how deals are scoped to how quarterly reviews land. What this website promises is ultimately his to keep.
Rob is the reason the technical claims on this website hold up. With over 20 years in infrastructure architecture, Microsoft 365, VMware, Hyper-V, and security stack design, he brings enterprise-level technical leadership to businesses that can't justify a full-time hire.
Rob acts as Virtual IT Director for several dataplanet clients - attending board meetings, holding vendors to account, and designing every managed service environment personally.
